APR PMax Turbo Specifications The APR PMax Turbo is designed to significantly increase the performance of 2.0 TFSI EA888.4 engines equipped with a Continental turbocharger. This system is a direct upgrade over the factory turbocharger combining a Garrett Power Max turbocharger with engine and transmission calibrations developed by APR. The Garrett Power Max GT2563S turbocharger features a design specifically developed for this application. It delivers increased airflow compared to the factory turbo with a claimed 20% increase in compressor flow and a 37% increase in turbine flow. Its Mar-M alloy turbine wheel and stainless steel housing are designed to withstand temperatures of up to 1 050°C. The kit includes the Garrett turbocharger the required installation hardware and an APR Stage 3 software upgrade for the engine control unit (ECU) and transmission control unit (TCU). The calibration also incorporates engine protection strategies designed to monitor several operating parameters including exhaust gas temperature boost pressure and fuel system limits.See the installation instructions
