Product specifications
DriftShop Muffler for Mazda MX-5 NC (05-15) The rear silencer or muffler is the final part of an exhaust system from which the gases are discharged. This muffler for MX-5 NC manufactured by DriftShop features two outlets with a diameter of 100 mm. DriftShop exhaust components are manufactured to a high standard using TIG welding. Stainless steel construction makes them resilient to weather corrosion etc… Perfectly matched to the characteristics of the engine this gloss-finish muffler features a design with two smaller silencers (instead of the original single large central unit). This design improves exhaust gases flow for superior performance and a sportier sound while still maintaining a legal and pleasant noise level for everyday use. The icing on the cake is that it weighs 1.5 kg less than the original (10.5 kg vs. 12). Includes gaskets and fittings. Compatible with the following vehicles : MX-5 1.8L 126 hp 2005-2015 (L8-DE) MX-5 2.0L 160 hp 2005-2015 (LF-VE) Special thanks to our customer Xavier D. for installation pictures.
DriftShop Muffler for Mazda MX-5 details
Flow, tone and heat management matter as much as the look of the system. This Mufflers / Tips is listed for builders who want a repeatable fit and a note they can live with. DriftShop Muffler for Mazda MX-5 is stored against SKU 8045N-NC0-2 so the same item can be re-ordered without guessing the title.
Downpipe, cat-back and manifold choices change turbo response and cabin drone. Confirm flange pattern, lambda boss and silencer placement against your current setup.
We ship exhaust parts with the hardware called out on the product where the supplier includes it. Missing gaskets or mounts can be added from the same catalogue.
Fitment for this Mufflers / Tips
This listing is not locked to one chassis. We still ask for make, model, year and engine before we confirm DriftShop Muffler for Mazda MX-5, because universal parts often need a specific length, thread or offset.
Bring photos of the mounting points, a VIN if the supplier uses one, and the parts already next to this Mufflers / Tips. That is how we avoid a return on a part that was only “close”.
If you are building a drift, time-attack or club-race car, say so. Duty cycle changes the recommendation even when the bolt pattern matches.
