Product specifications
The Advantages of KBD Kits KBD body kits made from a proprietary polyurethane composition are renowned for their unmatched strength precise fit through 3D molding and complete design from prototype to manufacturing in their California facility. As the manufacturer points out these kits are “virtually indestructible” thanks to their extreme flexibility which allows them to return to their original shape after deformation unlike fiber or plastic components which crack or break quickly (see video). This feature contributes to the excellent value for money of these products as you generally only need to buy one kit to last the lifetime of the car even for track use. KBD body parts withstand the most demanding conditions and are therefore particularly suitable for heavily lowered vehicles such as drift cars show cars and street cars used as daily drivers.Don’t Be Surprised !The polyurethane parts are delivered folded in a cardboard box and only need to be exposed to the sun (or any other heat source) for 30 minutes to return to their original shape for installation on the vehicle. Each product contains a memory agent which allows the part to go back into perfect shape – we guarantee it this a patented and proven process by KBD. The polyurethane parts are very easy to install and can be painted using completely standard methods just like other more conventional materials (fiberglass plastic steel…).
